Tenant Representative Bodies and the Assembly Election 2022
/At Supporting Communities, we work to empower groups to have a say in the way their housing and communities are affected by decision-makers.
We facilitate the running of two important representative groups for tenants and communities in Northern Ireland, both of which have put together manifestos stating their most important housing issues for the upcoming election.
We have published their respective lists, both of which stress housing as a human right and the importance of ending homelessness.

The HCN
The Housing Community Network (HCN) is the key forum for tenant and community engagement in Northern Ireland. It is made up of over 500 community groups and representative tenant involvement panels in each of the Housing Executive areas.
They have issued this election manifesto.
The HPP
The Housing Policy Panel (HPP), made up of tenant representatives from all the main NI housing associations and the Housing Executive, acts as a consultative forum to the Department for Communities. They focus on social housing matters at a strategic level and aim to be the voice of tenants and represent their interests concerning social housing policy.
They have issued this election manifesto.
At election time, we all get to have a say at the ballot box. Make sure to use your vote!
