Tell The New Minister for Communities What Issues to Prioritise: Get on 'The Amp'!

amp 1 question.png

We’re very excited to debut our new engagement tool, The Amp Survey.

The first survey, in what will be an ongoing series, came out on 22 January. It’s an easy one to start, it’s very short - just one question! But we have allowed for comments and feedback for those who have more to say.

We want to get a sense of community member’s priorities for our newly re-formed NI Executive, especially the Department of Communities which has strategic responsibility for equality, anti-poverty, sports, arts and culture, languages, finding employment, historic environment, housing, regeneration, benefits and pensions, community and voluntary sector development, social legislation and child support.

Deirdre Hargey MLA was appointed Minister for the Department for Communities and took up her role on 11 January 2020. We'd like to share your views with her as she gets to work on a range of issues.

What do you see as the most important and urgent issues facing communities in Northern Ireland?

Here’s how you can tell us and be counted!

Sign up for ‘The Amp’ and we’ll email you a link to the survey to complete online. It only takes a couple of minutes.

This first survey closes on Sunday, January 26th, so get your registration form filled in today!

As an added incentive to making your voice heard, we will also be giving away a prize for each round of The Amp.

Your completed survey will be entered into a random prize draw on Monday the 27th - you could win a £30 All for One Voucher which can be spent at many popular retailers.

Help Us Reach More People and Amplify Your Voice!

When you've completed the survey, please help us spread the word by encouraging your friends and family to be part of the ‘The Amp’. The Amp is open to all NI residents. The more people we can engage, the louder our results will be to the minister making the decisions that affect us all.

If anyone would prefer to receive a paper copy and post it back to us, please email us at info@supportingcommunities.org , include your address and request a registration form for ‘The Amp’.

We’ll be sharing the results of the survey on our website.
