This is the fourth in a series of five online workshops designed to explain how the Code of Good Governance Health Check can be used as a mechanism for reviewing governance practices.
Members of the Developing Governance Group will deliver five online workshops, one for each of the five principles of The Code of Good Governance, to help organisations get started on reviewing their own governance practices. They will explain how the Code and Governance Health Check can be used to help board/committee members achieve a greater understanding of what is expected of them in their governance role.
They will also demonstrate how the Governance Health Check and DIY Committee Guide can be used to help implement better governance practice in their organisations.
Who should attend?
These seminars are open to trustees, board/committee members, employees of voluntary and community organisations, as well as those who advise them.

When Mullaghmore & Castleview Community Association (MACCA) in Omagh set out to plan this year's summer scheme, they took a chance on something different. Alongside the usual trips to the cinema and play areas, children aged 5 to 14 spent a full week immersed in a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) Future Farmers programme exploring the natural world on their own doorstep. The risk paid off in a big way!
