As part of the Developing Governance Group, a group of sector support organisations responsible for the DIY Committee Guide, we are pleased to announce that the DIY committee guide website is being revamped!
The new site will reflect the updated principles of the Code of Good Governance and evidence from the Governance Health Check. The launch will officially take place on 20 September at NICVA.
The 3rd edition of the Code of Good Governance was launched in November 2021. The DIY committee guide is an online resource to help voluntary boards find the guidance and practical resources they need to improve their governance understanding.

When Mullaghmore & Castleview Community Association (MACCA) in Omagh set out to plan this year's summer scheme, they took a chance on something different. Alongside the usual trips to the cinema and play areas, children aged 5 to 14 spent a full week immersed in a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) Future Farmers programme exploring the natural world on their own doorstep. The risk paid off in a big way!
