Supporting Communities Celebrates Get Online Week
/19 -25 October 2020 is Get Online Week!
Supporting Communities is taking part in the event by offering digital skills sessions which are free and open to everyone. If you or someone you know would like to take the next steps in getting online and building digital confidence, this is the perfect opportunity!
Supporting Communities, LibrariesNI, Digi Skills, Ulster Bank NI, Ignite IT, and RNIB have all teamed up with the Department of Finance Go ON NI team and Business in the Community to provide remote training on many topics such as e-mail, social media, iPads, e-magazines, device settings, shopping online, apps, scams, and passwords to name a few.
These informational sessions can help you stay safe online, improve your skills, get connected, enjoy life remotely, and much, much more. Additional sessions on Google Classroom, employability skills, digital banking and accessibility software are also available to join.
Our Get Online Week Events
Supporting Communities is running five online events during Get Online Week.

One-to-one individual support sessions - 45 min slots all day on Monday, October 19th
Online Safety/Scam Awareness - 11 am on Tuesday, October 20th
Intro to Zoom - 11 am on Wednesday, October 21st
Online Safety/Scam Awareness - 11 am on Thursday, October 22nd
Downloading Apps to your smartphone or tablet - 11 am on Friday, October 23rd
