Grants up to a maximum of £20,000 are available to not-for-profit organisations in the UK for practical projects that tackle critical challenges in health and social care, make a direct impact on people's health and wellbeing and address the Foundation's theme for that year.
Objectives of Fund
The Bupa UK Foundation's mission is to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives. The Foundation's funding programmes are developed around clearly defined themes and reflect important factors that underpin health and wellbeing. Among others these include mental health, ageing well, managing long-term conditions, behaviour change and healthy living.
In 2019, the Foundation is inviting applications for practical, community focused projects that aim to support and improve people's mental health in mid-life (age range from 30s to 50s).
How To Apply
There are three stages to the grant-making.
Stage 1 - the summary information provided in the project outline by the applicant is reviewed.
Stage 2 - applications that most clearly fit the application criteria are then invited to submit more detailed information.
Stage 3 - a small number of applications will be considered by the Bupa UK Foundation's Board of Trustees, who make all final funding decisions.
The Foundation aims to advise applicants whether they have been successful in progressing to Stage 2 within six weeks of the closing date.
